Golden Ambassador Sponsor: Montag & Caldwell

Golden Ambassador Sponsors provide enriching opportunities to L.E.A.D. Ambassadors. Some opportunities expose the Ambassadors to interesting sites and scenes around the city and others expose them to different career fields.

On February 17^th, the Ambassadors learned a little about the field of stocks and bonds from Montag & Caldwell. L.E.A.D. supporter, Bill Vogel (President/CEO of Montag) provided a first class experience for the Ambassadors in the company’s Buckhead office. The theme of the day was (wait for it)….baseball of course. The Ambassadors entered the company’s “War Room” which was renamed the “Draft Room” for this event where different stocks were discussed in the context of being potential players on a team that the Ambassadors were trying to build. If you guessed that the “team” represented the stock portfolio then you are totally following this experience.

Through Bill and other colleagues at Montag, the Ambassadors learned about how a shirt becomes a commodity and how the company researches the highest performing stocks in order to make the best returns for their clients. Sounds a little like the college baseball recruiting process….
