The Ambassadors and select middle School LEADers had the opportunity to serve as official marshals for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative March for the second year. Longtime march coordinator, Dewey McClain, made it possible for the Ambassadors to escort the dignitaries at the front of the march.
So many of our young people only have an opportunity to “hear” about how others marched for Civil Rights. Through L.E.A.D., we are providing our Ambassadors the opportunity to actually experience a march. Thank you to all of the dedicated people and organizations that make this annual event happen.
